Alicia R Midkiff , LVT Alicia has been with Animal Health Care Center since 1999. She is a Liscenced Veterinary Technician, graduating from Blue Ridge Community College in 2001 with honors. Her special interests are laboratory work, especially cytology, vetscopings, radiology, & phlebotomy. Alicia was married in October 2001 & became a mom in March 2003 & again in June 2006 to 2 girls. Her family also enjoys several furbabies that include, 2 beagles, a pom, and a cat. Her personal interests include: camping, sewing, crafts, photography, scrapbooking, parenting, & journaling. Alicia enjoys this field so much because everyday is different....different problems, challenges, solutions, circumstances, people & pets. There is always something to be learned each day, with an unending oppurtunity to improve, learn & grow.

Erin Stevens , LVT Erin was born & raised here in Waynesboro. She graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Blue Ridge Community College in 2003 with honors. Erin worked at the Shenandoah Valley Regional Veterinary Emergency Services while she attended school. Upon graduating she became a part of our team in 2003. Erin was just married in 2006, in addition to being a mother to a daughter, Michelle, born in 2004. She also enjoys her furbabies who include a cat, Sophie & 2 dogs, a boxer-Lilly, & a lab mix-Shelby. |

Katie Benson , LVT Katie is originally from Southern Maryland, she moved here to Augusta County in 2003 to attend Blue Ridge Community College where she completed the Veterinary Technician Program in 2005. Katie also received her bachelor's degree in Wildlife Sciences from Virginia Tech in 2002. Katie resides in Stuarts Draft with her husband & their six cats-Trouble, Roxy, Jojo, Nate, Rita & Vince. Here at AHCC, Katie is affectionately known as the "cat lady". |

Tammy moved from Chester, Virginia to pursue her career as Licensed Veterinary Technician. she graduated from Blue Ridge Community College in 1991. Tammy joined AHCC in August, 2006. She is blessed with a husband & three children. Her love of animals has led her home complete with four dogs & one cat. |

Stephanie Baker , LVT Stephanie came to us in the fall of 08' from Northern Virginia. She is a recent graduate of Blue Ridge Community College LVT program.
She definently enjoys the hustle & bustle & prefers to stay busy, busy, busy.

Receptionist
Renea Carter Renea came to be a part of the AHCC team after returning to the work force once her children became school age. She has become a quick friend to all, clients & co-workers alike.

Daphne Pittman AHCC is proud to have Daphne back as a part-time receptionist and full-time assitant to Victoria. This is her second employment at AHCC, She worked as a full-time receptionist from 2000-2003. Daphne's enthusiasm is contagious & she excels at customer service.

India Fairfax
India joined AHCC in the spring of 2007. Her humor is what she is known for aound our hospital. While this is the first time she has held a position at a vet clinic she has proved to be a quick learner.

Carla started in July 2007. She has experience working with SPCA animals. This is her first postion at a vet hospital setting but is picking up things very quickly & eager to learn.

Michelle Lovell
Michelle is currently enrolled in the Vet Tech program at Blue Ridge Community College and will graduate in May 2009. Her and her husband share their home with 2 dogs, Bo and Maggie, and a ferret, Mojo.
Ashleigh Mathews Asheligh joined the AHCC team in the summer of 08'
She is new to vet field but a very determined, eager & quick learner. She has become a fast friend to all that work here.

Tech Assistant
Kendra Weaver

Kendra lives on a 60 acre farm with her parents that houses angus cattle & 2 border collies. She graduated from Stuarts Draft High School in 1999, & has been working in vet clinics since then. She has received certification as a Vet Tech Assistant from a corrospondene college in PA. Kendra finished up assisting classes at Blue Ridge Community College in 2007, at that time she was moved to the position of a Tech Assistant. Kendra keeps busy outside of work with petsitting. She is also a member of Stuarts Draft Mennonite Church, where she attends a weekly young adult bible study group. Kendra says of herself "I'm a very conscientious worker & work very hard to satisfy the client". |

Kennel Attendents
Kirsten Rogers Kirtsen started at AHCC during the Spring of 2007. While she takes her work very seriously she manages to keep it fun along the way. She is a full-time college student who joins us over the holidays & summers.

Kristie Fitzgerald Kristie came to AHCC to work as a Kennel Assitant in November 07.
While she is brand new to the world of Veterinary medicine, her compassion for the animals she cares for is nothing new. It is very evident in her interactions with the furry little guys & gals that her love has been there a lifetime.
She has worked very hard to quickly form bonds with the boarders she cares for here at AHCC.
